The Strategic Enrollment Management task forces will begin their work during the Spring 2014 semester by looking at pre-enrollment practices, policies, communications — everything that may influence a student’s decision to attend TCC.
The task force will set milestone dates for process mapping, finding best practices, making recommendations, and implementing improvements — those that are easy (“low-hanging fruit”) as well as those that will take longer or be more complicated.
The SEM process will continue with the other phases as outlined in the graphic. We hope to have finished Phase IV by the start of the Fall 2016 semester. Although that seems a long way off, we will see the impact of our work all along the timeline — in the number of students who enroll, the number who advance academically and the number who achieve their degree or certificate.
